Privacy — short and honest
This is a private beta run by the Pause and Trade team (contact: moritzkehlapex@gmail.com). What you enter here — notes, positions, transactions, watched names — is stored on a server at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany, separated from other users' data. Only the team has access to the server.
For the chat, your question, the matching excerpts from your vault and your current positions (ticker, quantity, cost basis) are sent to an AI provider that generates the answer — currently Anthropic. So the chat can find your notes, every note is sent to an embedding provider on import and turned into search vectors there — currently Voyage AI. Both are based in the US and do not use your data for training; Anthropic deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days, Voyage right after processing. If I switch a provider, it will be stated here before it takes effect. The sign-in link is delivered via Mailgun (EU region) to your e-mail address. Price data comes from market-data providers; only ticker symbols go there, nothing personal. There is no tracking, no sharing and no sale of data.
You can have everything deleted at any time: one e-mail to moritzkehlapex@gmail.com is enough, and your entire space is removed. Keep your own copies of your notes — the beta comes with no availability guarantee.
